Nildram have built this system on a philosophy of sustained growth - through a system of monitoring and forecasting, we have continuously improved our network infrastructure in line with growth in customer base and the development of Internet technologies, including Broadband. This has resulted in a network that is stable, reliable and is always kept at a load far below saturation point.

Telehouse

Our main Internet backbone is based in Telehouse North, located in the Docklands area of London.

Telehouse North is the hub of all our connections, and also the main interconnect point between ourselves and other Internet Service Providers (ISPs) at the London Internet Exchange (LINX), Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) and the German Internet Exchange (deCIX). Our network backbone runs on 100Mbps and 1000Mbps switched Ethernet and provides co-hosting and leased-line connections directly from this point. One of the most secure sites in Europe, the facility is fully air-conditioned with 7 days backup power.

Next door to Telehouse North, Telehouse East is a more recent facility that provides us with plenty of scope for future expansion. Telehouse East is interconnect point between ourselves and other ISPs at LINX (secondary), LoNAP and XchangePoint.

We are connected between Telehouse North and Telehouse East via two independently routed pairs of dark fibre, across which we are running gigabit ethernet. This provides us with very high resilience and gives us a lot of flexibility. As with Telehouse North, we provide Co-Hosting and Leased Line connections from here, and we also terminate Dial-Up connections in this building. Once again, the building is fully air conditioned with 7 days backup power.
