Nildram provide either a Load Balanced Solution (below) or a Bonded Solution

Load Balanced Solution:

Requirements

  • Each ATM interface has own dialer interface
  • Dialer interfaces use same login
  • Dialer interfaces allocated IPs from dynamic pool on LNS
  • LNS routes a subnet via all of the allocated dynamic IPs
  • CPE has default route via remote IP of each dialer interface, which is LNS IP and same for each

This service will not allow you to use:

  • Where IPSEC VPN from CPE is required
  • With non-Cisco CPE such as LINUX bonded solution

Login name format will be 'gotadsl.co.uk/login-ml2' where 'login' is the username that is specified in your welcome letter.

  • VPI: 0
  • VCI: 38
  • PPP Type/Encapsulation: PPPoA (PPP over ATM) NOT PPPoE
  • Framing: VC-MUX
  • Modulation/Mode: G.DMT

Ports blocked: None.

  • DNS Primary: 212.139.132.5 or 212.139.132.6
  • DNS Secondary: 212.139.132.21 or 212.139.132.22
  • MTU: 1500
