Technical Details

Requirements:

Fully Qualified Domain Name

MX Setup:

For fixed static Nildram dialup accounts (not ADSL):

Pri 10 = mailq.nildram.co.uk
Pri 20 = whitemail.nildram.co.uk

For fixed static Nildram ADSL users:

Pri 10 = mail.yourdomain.com (should resolve to your IP)
Pri 20 = whitemail.nildram.co.uk

About the servers:

whitemail.nildram.co.uk

Queue's e-mail for 5 days and then returns an undeliverable message, it will try and deliver mail to the primary MX record at 15min internals.

mailq.nildram.co.uk

Queue's e-mail for up to 5 days. It requires a mailer table entry of the destination server it will relay mail to. (This needs to be arranged with the support desk.) It will try and deliver mail at 2, 4, 8, 16 etc hour intervals until it reaches 5days and fails, returning an undeliverable message.
