Domains Hosted by Nildram
You do not need to make any changes if the domain is hosted with Nildram as we administer the domain; the setup is arranged through your account manager.
This should be discussed with a member of the sales team upon ordering/transferring who will be able to advice on how to setup the MX records.
Non-Nildram Hosted Domains
You must have a static IP address in order to make use of an SMTP mail feed. You should ask your host to setup the following MX records for your domain:
For fixed static Nildram dialup accounts (not ADSL):
- Pri 10 = mailq.nildram.co.uk
- Pri 20 = whitemail.nildram.co.uk
- Pri 30 = blackmail.nildram.co.uk
For fixed static Nildram ADSL users:
- Pri 10 = mail.yourdomain.com (should resolve to your IP)
- Pri 20 = whitemail.nildram.co.uk
- Pri 30 = mailq.nildram.co.uk
