ASP

To check ASP is setup on your directory:

1) Go to http://www.userarea.co.uk and then log in with your FTP details.

2) Click on the + to expand the “Web Site” tree

3) Click on the “Developer Options” menu (not the + beside it), this will change the right hand side of the screen

4) On the right hand side of the screen you will find a table showing you what is enabled on each of your directories. For ASP you must look for the symbol to ensure it’s enabled.

To create a DSN:

1) Go to http://www.userarea.co.uk and then log in with your FTP details.

2) Click on the + to expand the “Web Site” tree

3) Click on the “+” by “Developer Options” this will expand the tree then click on “ODBC Data Sources”

4) On the right hand side, scroll down to the Add Access DSN section and enter the name of your DSN and the location of your DSN and you should see “Add DSN Successful”

5) If added successfully then you will see it added above the Add Access DSN section. You can later ensure that the DSN still works by clicking on verify

Cold Fusion

To check Cold Fusion is enabled on your webspace

1) Go to http://www.userarea.co.uk and then log in with your FTP details.

2) Click on the + to expand the “Web Site” tree

3) Click on the “Developer Options” menu (not the + beside it), this will change the right hand side of the screen

4) On the right hand side of the screen you will find a table showing you what is enabled on each of your directories. For Cold Fusion you must look for the symbol to ensure it’s enabled.

7) Click on the + to expand the “Web Site” tree

8) Click on the “+” by “Developer Options” this will expand the tree then click on “ODBC Data Sources”
